Riverside Cafe and Icy Bar CIC

Open 11am-3pm Tuesday to Sunday

The Garden House is home to Riverside Cafe and Icy Bar CIC, a separate social enterprise supporting wellbeing activities in nature alongside its offering of drinks and snacks. In Summer the cafe operates its Icy Bar ice cream kiosk too, with ice cream from Mrs Dowson’s Farm in Lancashire.

The cafe has mostly outdoor seating and a couple of tables undercover in the barn shed. Visitors can look across the farm.

It has a fabulous outdoor play area which opened in Spring 2026, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and a private donation.

The cafe is open Tuesday to Sunday 11-3 in Summer, weekends only in Winter.

The Icy Bar pop up kiosk serves ice creams throughout the summer and school holidays.
